The Judges cited among other things, SJR’s in-depth analysis of the join operating agreement between Newhouse and the Pulitzer-owned St. Louis Post-Dispatch under which Newhouse would have continued to share in Post profits…
“This, the judges said, has national implications for the Newspaper Preservation Act “which would supposedly was designed to keep newspapers alive and not reward publishers for closing them down.”
